Job Description :
- You will have an IoT background from a Mobile Network Operator (MNO), MVNO or IoT Distributor. With a great understanding of the complex world of IoT connectivity services, Platforms, SIM technology, Roaming and related technologies solutions Maintain a pre-existing portfolio of enterprise customers in the market, substantiated by a track record of successful sales, both domestically and internationally.
- A ‘hunter’ mentality with accomplished account management/farming skills and a fanatical attitude to customer satisfaction. Skilled in unearthing opportunities and identify right connectivity decision markers within organization
- Ability to developing a good understanding of the customer needs, solutions, and vertical market, and covert to revenue
- Develop, customize and execute your own strategy for achieving your annual sales goals as well as aligning with Company’s plans
- Own and manage customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle, as well as working with the Bid and Commercial Team on formal customer responsesA highly organised person who can adapt to any mode of presentation including face to face customer management meetings as necessary to deliver sales, provide support, address issues, communicate updates and to be an advocate your customers desires within Company
- An individual who can align monthly and quarterly sales forecast, delivering revenue goals and ensuring on-time supply
- A mutli-tasker to manage direct customer engagements as well as work along with direct sales force and indirect channels to drive positive business outcomes.
- An intrapreneur that keep abreast of market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks. To provide insights to customise winning sales strategies and develop better connectivity product to compete.
- A coach to the team members in Wireless Solutions organisation, to enhance their knowledge of IoT Connectivity
Requirements:
Essential Skills, Qualities and competencies
- In-depth, understanding of the IoT, landscape, platforms, competitors, and overall value chain
- Minimum 2 years preferably in Managed Connectivity Sales.
- At least 5 years proven track record in fast pace telecom and electronics sales industry
- Prior regional experience with a Telecom Operator or MVNO
- Has existing good network of IoT contacts and prospects.
- Enterprising, Creativity and Winning attitude.
- Committed, Outcome Driven and Team Player.
- Ability to exceed quarterly and annual revenue and KPI targets assigned
- Structured and detail-orientated nature for reviews and follow-ups on leads/opportunities.
- Strong ability to generate new customers with desire to cross-sell wider IoT Product Suite where necessary.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills and good written and verbal communication
- Fluent in English (writing and oral). Additional language fluency is a plus.
- Prepared to support regional customer in different time zones
- Travel to business meetings and international are expected.
- Possess Driving license and car
Additional Skills, competencies and qualities
- Experience managing the sales and distribution channel in Telecom, IT and/or IoT activities.
- Understand evolving wireless technologies/solutions (eSIM, iSM, SoftSIM) and categories of Connectivity (2G-5G and Low Power Wan Network) .
- Ability to understand Technology/Hardware, RF & GNSS module experience other IoT connectivity domain preferred.
- Embedded HW/SW development experience is bonus.
- Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with different levels of the customers' organization.
- MBA or Master’s degree is “nice-to-have”
